No. IncogChat has no chat backend. Prompts and replies are processed on your device by Chrome’s built-in Gemini Nano via the Prompt API. We do not receive or store message content.

Is IncogChat truly anonymous and private?
Chat content stays in your browser session. We do not require accounts. Hosting providers may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent). Ads, when enabled, are governed by Google AdSense policies and do not receive your chat text from us.
What browsers support private on-device AI messaging?
IncogChat requires Google Chrome 148+ on desktop with the Prompt API / Gemini Nano available. Other browsers and mobile Chrome are not supported for on-device inference yet.
Do you sell my data or train models on my chats?
No. We do not sell chat content or use it to train models. The product is funded by optional display ads, separate from the local model session.
